Esther is an artist living and working in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. She makes paintings/drawings and runs creative art courses for adults and younger learners. Esther is a part-time Tutor for the WEA, delivering mixed media and life drawing courses for adults (post 16) in the East Riding. She works alongside arts organisations to develop and deliver creative learning projects and workshops for adults and school-aged children. She is an Arts Advisor for Arts Awards, which she currently delivers at Beverley Art Gallery within the 'Young Creatives' art classes. She also works freelance for schools, delivering clothed life-drawing workshops and courses across all ages, to enrich pupils' arts experience and provide greater depth learning .
Esther was born in 1977 and completed her degree in Fine Art at Kingston University, London in 1999. Since graduating she has worked as Artist In Residence at both a contemporary art gallery and also at The King's School Worcester. These residencies included a programme of workshops/teaching and culminated in a final solo show and artist/group talks. Esther exhibits locally, having recently taken part in group shows, 'Interconnected' at East Riding Theatre and 'Paint' at the Old Post Office building, Hull.
